Watch on. Before you start removing the speed sensor, place a car jack under the gearbox. STEP 1: remove those 5 screws from the engine mount. It has to be removed. STEP 2: use a flat blade screwdriver to remove the speed sensor connector. STEP 3: use a T45 Torx to remove the speed sensor from the gearbox.

What I tend to do now is put the key in, turn it to position 2 & wait a few seconds to see if the immobiliser light flashes, if not then start the car, if it does take the key out & try again, saves firing the car up for a second or so, must save a bit on petrol too! 0 0 0.
